1st in a Series: My Drive to Work

The basic idea is that I call someone interesting as I get in my car and talk with them until I get to work. Here is the route I will drive. What’s cool about this is that the drive takes about 10 minutes so it’s a perfect length.
This morning I talked with Mark Wallace of 3PointD. Our discussion covered the recent State of Play Conference, taxation of virtual world revenues and a variety of other things. I also pointed out tha Second Life’s population has doubled in the last 6 - 7 weeks. My challenge to you all is to guess what the population will be in the first second of 2007. Leave your guess in the comments of this post — closest guess without going over wins $500, US currency.

Great to meet you this morning on the MITX panel. I really liked what you had to say… especially about ROI.
As to the guess, based on the recent adds/day numbers, I’m figuring we’ll crack 2.5 million, so I’ll be incredibly “real world pithy” and say 2007101.
